Arthur and the Race to Read

This book is about well, I’m not sure if it’s more about racing or reading. Arthur and his friends, Fern and Binkie, Francine, Buster, the Brain (his real name is Allen) are training to run a race for money for literacy. So, they are racing, la, la, la, la, I'm running, I'm running...and Arthur doesn't really like running. He doesn't really like exercising. He likes sleeping in, like me. My favorite part of the book was Arthur, cause he does stuff that I do. He sleeps in and he likes to sleep in like me. I would sleep in every day if my mom would let me, but she's always evil. Good thing my mom works at church.

Renaissance Festival

On Tuesday, we went to the Renaissance Festival. What we did was, we were going to see Dead Bob, but we didn’t get to see it. And, we a show where they ate mud, played in mud, and had a competition in mud. I didn’t want it to get on me, but I didn’t think it was so gross that they ate it. We went to see jugglers. One of them, put a cup of milk on his forehead and he putted it on the floor, standed it up, got the drink, with out ever using his hands…and then, he got the drink, with his mouth and he drank it and the milk shot out of his NOSE!

It was fun to see my friends there like Jalie, Tyler, Kaycee, Patrick, Hannah, John Mark, and Mrs. Melodi. It was also great that my family went together. That was so great. I was glad that dad took 2 days off.

My favorite part of the day was the dragon what-a-ma-jig. You had to get a dragon egg, then put it in this thingy and then you say, “Roll ball roll” then it would hit the egg, smash it, then it would say something on the inside. Whatever it said, you got to pick whatever it was! My egg said dragon statue, so I got a dragon! It is red. Let’s all say red. Red. Red.

I think we should go to this every year, but if it was open every day, I would want us to go every day.

Cub Scout Camp Out

I went to camp and it was only for cub scouts. I mean it.

Mr. Matt and Luke came and got me and I had to get up at like 8 in the morning on a Saturday. That is my sleep in day. So, I was not very happy about that...but then, when I got there, I was glad I got up early to go. I got to do all kind of games, and I got to earn a badge.

This is a picture of me doing archery. I think it was pretty fun, that I may be buying a bow and arrow! I earned my archery badge, just they haven't given it to me yet.

This game is where we sort of like played bowling, but, we kick the soccer ball to knock down the bowling pins, that were bottles.

This is a three legged race. It was so hard!

At this time, I was only eating a snack, but snacks are my favorite things in about the whole wide world.

The Fish Prince

Once upon a time there was a princess, named Isabella. But, she really was a witch disguised as a princess. The witch princess had heard there was a magic prince fish in a nearby pond. So, the princess witch goes to the pond because they say if a princess cries in the pond with the magic fish, they will be getting one wish every time. So, the first time she went crying in the pond and the fish thought she was a princess, so she got one wish. The wish was that she would be having a beautiful garden. She got the wish. The next month she went into the garden the second time and cried in the pond. Again, the fish thought she was a princess because she was disguised as one, but she was really a witch. So, he gave her a wish. This wished for a big house and owning land. She got it. A month later she came back to the pond. This time, she wished the fish would die. But the fish did not die because the witch did not know that the fish prince was having eternal life and that another witch had put an evil spell on him, making him a fish, but this spell could be broken if a witch wished on the fish. Once a witch wished on the fish, the fish could now have three wishes himself. The prince fish now knew that the princess wasn’t a princess. It was a witch in a disguise. So, after the prince fish found out that the princess was really a witch, he wished for her to be shriveled up, a mother bird get her and the mother bird feed the witch to her baby birds. He wished and it happened. Then he wished he would be human. He turned into a human, but he couldn’t swim. So, he drowns in the pond. Once he’s dead, he turns back into the fish and he still has one wish left. That wish was for him to jump out of the pond. He jumps out of the pond and gets dead on the ground because fish can’t live on the ground, they have to live in water. Too bad he didn’t pay attention in school! So Princess Emma comes along, sees the fish and cries because she loves animals. Her tears got on the fish and the fish turns back into a real prince and they lived happily ever after.

The Enchanted Pig

Once upon a time there were three princes. One of the princes was enchanted. A magic wolf put a spell on the prince. The spell was that the prince had to stay a pig until he got married. So the pig tried to look as handsome as he could by putting on a tuxedo, put his hair flat, he brushed his teeth, put cologne on him, and put some deodorant on. Then he went out looking for a lady pig because he knew a fairy that could change the lady pig into a human princess. Finally he found a pig that was a girl at the zoo. The girl pig wants to marry him because she has the same spell as the boy pig has on him. So the boy pig says, “Do you want to marry me?” Then the girl pig says, “Yes, I would love to.” Then the boy pig gives the girl pig an engagement necklace because pigs can’t wear rings, silly. Then they got married. (I should have told you a little while back in the story, but the girl pig was really having a spell on her, but the boy pig didn’t really know that she had a spell on her.) They get married and both of their spells get broken. The boy pig turns into the prince and the girl pig turns into a princess. The prince gets a wish and his wish is he wishes he has a huge tower that’s 1,000 feet big. Because the magic wolf said whenever you have breakin the spell you get a wish. And that’s what he wished for is a 1000 feet big castle. And they lived happily ever after in their 1,000 feet big castle. Oink. Oink. That means the end.
